Palisades Tahoe has one of the most impressive ski & snowboard team programs in the world. Our teams, collectively known as Team Palisades Tahoe, support thousands of athletes ages 3 to 20 not just in the winter, but all year round. With dozens of events throughout each season, strict requirements for racecourse surfaces, and a lot of people to fit on the hill, it is no small feat to plan and execute for the needs of Team Palisades Tahoe. Here’s a closer look at how we make it happen.
Team Palisades Tahoe athlete, Aiden England, has emerged as a standout nominee to the US Ski & Snowboard Ski Cross team headed to the Youth Olympic Games. The competition is set to take place in Gangwon Province, South Korea January 19th – February 1st, 2024. A senior at Truckee High School and seasoned skier, Aiden will proudly represent the United States and his home mountain of Palisades Tahoe as one of two distinguished Male Ski Cross Team members selected nationwide.
Team Palisades Tahoe is pleased to announce that 4 freeride athletes have been invited to compete in the Yeti Freeride Junior World Championships in Kappl, Austria in late January 2024! Based on their IFSA standings from last season, Indy Boyer, Mia Jones, Curran Hall, and Sam Briggs will compete alongside the best up-and-coming junior athletes from around the world.
Meet Jonny Moseley, a legendary freestyle skier who has long called Palisades Tahoe home. Moseley made history with a gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano. A living legend in the skiing community, Jonny continues to inspire with his innovative spirit and unwavering passion for the slopes.
