Monday:
Mostly sunny with highs in the 40s.
Tuesday – Wednesday:
Tuesday into Wednesday storms take aim at the Pacific NW. Precipitation will be just to our north. We should see clouds and gusty winds with the chance for a few showers. Highs in the 40s at the base and 30s up top.
The snow levels may be around 8000 ft. Tuesday and rising to around 9000 ft. Tuesday night into Wednesday. So any light showers passing through will be mostly rain, with a little snow possible up top. The ridgetop winds could be gusting from the southwest up to 50+ mph both days.
Thursday into the Weekend:
High pressure builds in over CA starting Thursday into the weekend. That will bring sunny skies and milder temperatures. Highs into the 50s for Thu – Fri, and then we could cool a few degrees for the weekend. Ridgetop winds could still be breezy with gusts up to 30+ mph Thu-Fri.
Long-Range:
Next week the high-pressure ridge over CA begins to shift off the West Coast. Initially, that will start to allow colder air to move down from the north into CA next week, possibly a bit colder as we go through the week.
By the end of next week, we could see a cold/dry system drop-down from the north into CA. It looks like the last week of the month the door could possibly open back up to some wetter systems.
