In response to traffic impacts experienced over the past winter, we plan to implement new traffic and parking solutions on weekends and holidays during the 2023/24 winter season. Our goal is to reduce arrival and departure traffic impacts experienced by guests, employees, and our community. Although there is not one single answer that will solve this region-wide, decades-old issue, we continue to be focused on doing what we can to ease the situation for our guests and the people who live and work in our region.
We realize that traffic throughout North Lake Tahoe is a problem – especially during big winters like this one when snow conditions are amazing (and on repeat!). Although the traffic situation isn’t new, it has increased in recent years. We want to be part of the solution, and we hope that you do, too. After all, we’re more effective when we work together. It’s up to all of us – our community, our guests, and our employees – to make use of the services that are already available to help alleviate traffic congestion until longer-term solutions are implemented.
It’s a holiday weekend! While this is an exciting time to get away and enjoy some skiing, keep in mind that holidays can be busy at Palisades Tahoe. Here is what you need to know in order to have an enjoyable, seamless weekend. Remember to stick around this Saturday for Fireworks!
