Thanks to weeks of preparation by our mountain operations teams, cold nightly temperatures and the tremendous efforts of our snowmakers, we are kicking off the 2018-19 season this Friday, November 16 with terrain opening at both mountains!
With record-breaking snowfall this January, skiers and riders from the Tahoe area and beyond are flocking to the mountains to take advantage of the prime conditions. With all this enthusiasm AND over 23 feet of snow in January, parking lots have been reaching capacity at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows on weekends & holidays.
