After over 4 FEET of snow to kick off February, mild and sunny conditions are expected for the first half of the week. The weather takes a turn on Wednesday with another series of storms pushing into Tahoe. Let us help you find the good stuff this week with the Mountain Surf Report!

The conditions today were excellent, with great coverage. As the storm came in, the temperatures were dropping, and the lack of crowds meant I could lap the lifts all day.

 Perfect powder and great groomers made for an awesome couple of days at Palisades Tahoe this week.

The groomers were where it was at as we took advantage of the soft, spring-like conditions, which had people skiing in t-shirts. The forecast is good, though, with the potential for up to 20″ of fresh snow over the weekend.

After potentially the best two days of the season so far, big snow in the forecast should set up a memorable holiday weekend.
