Guests at Palisades Tahoe have helped the resort raise $30,000 annually for the Tahoe Fund and the Truckee River Watershed Council. Since 2013, guests have been able to add $1 to their lodging and dining purchases, earmarked specifically for the Green Bucks Program.

Miracle March is real! From Tuesday evening into Saturday, Mother Nature dropped 105″ (over 8 FEET) of snow on the mountains. This was the biggest storm of the season so far, and brings our March total to over 15 feet. This made for some incredible skiing and riding as the clouds cleared and 100% of Alpine Meadows terrain opened today. Here are some highlights:

Weekend Preview: February 24-25

The storm moved in around 5:45am this morning, and it’s been dumping all day! As of 1pm, Squaw Valley Ski Patrol Director unofficially reported 7 inches of new snow on the upper mountain with even more accumulation on the ridges. We could see a 10″ storm total by tomorrow morning.
