Short-Range Forecast:
High pressure will dominate our weather pattern through the weekend and into early next week. That will continue the dry and mild weather. Mostly sunny days with highs into the 60s for the lower elevations and 50s for the higher elevations.
Long-Range Forecast:
The long-range models continue to show troughing over the West Coast during the last 7 days of April. That could bring us cooler temperatures and could open the door to weak storms dropping into the trough during the last 7 days of the month.
We’ll continue to watch the trends over the next week as we approach the possible pattern change that could start next Wednesday the 23rd. We may end the ski season for the Alpine Meadows side and the forecasting season with a few weak storms that could bring a little rain & snow to the mountain.
