We are officially shifting our hours of operation this weekend to make the most of Spring conditions and getting the snow early as the temps stay warm. Palisades Tahoe lifts are now scheduled to open from 8am – 2:30pm. We are sticking to the weekends-only schedule for skiing & riding, which means you can get those buttery spring turns on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for the next two weeks. We’ll also be open on Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day) for the very last day of the 21/22 season.
Weather
- It will be progressively warmer each day this weekend, reaching nearly 60 degrees by Sunday.
- No freezing nights are in the forecast, which means snowmelt is accelerating.
- Next week, temperatures will get closer to 70 degrees midweek.
Lift, Terrain, & Conditions Updates
The following seven lifts are scheduled to run 8am-2:30pm: the Funitel, Aerial Tram, Gold Coast, Siberia, Shirley Lake, Bailey’s Beach, and Mountain Meadow.
The park crew is working on touching up Gold Coast terrain park for the weekend. With recent warm temps, the snow isn’t holding up quite as well as they’d hoped, but they are working with what they’ve got!
Side note: if you happened to look at our webcams today and saw skiers & riders out on the hill, it was a special employee-only ski & ride day! Thanks to our awesome crews for keeping the season going this long.
