There’s a lot more to be grateful for this week, we are expanding our terrain! Thanks to our operations teams working around the clock, we will be adding 9 new lifts on our upper mountain to the lift schedule this Sunday, December 1. While we would love to open this terrain on Saturday, the temperatures are ideal for snowmaking, and we need one more night to “connect the dots” and allow skiing from top to bottom.
Weather
The first week of December brings sunny skies, clear nights, and mild temperatures, with highs around 50°F at the base and chilly lows in the 20’s overnight. It’s beautiful weather to enjoy the mountain!
As we head into the second week of December, models hint at cooler air and a slight chance of light snow showers as the ridge shifts. While no major storms are on the horizon yet, we’re keeping a close eye on the trends — check out Bryan Allegretto’s weather blog here.
