Get ready to hit the slopes earlier than planned—Palisades Tahoe is opening for its 75th anniversary season on Friday, November 22, five days ahead of schedule! Thanks to fresh snowfall and the dedication of our mountain operations team, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the start of winter sooner than expected.
A Celebration 75 Years in the Making
This season is extra special, and we’re celebrating with $75 lift tickets from November 22 through November 27 in honor of our 75th anniversary. You can purchase them online, or from the ticket office, open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Opening Day Festivities
We’re kicking off opening day in style! Here’s what you can expect:
- Live DJ
- Complimentary Breakfast Burritos
- $75 Lift Tickets: Celebrate this milestone season with discounted tickets available throughout opening week.
- Palisades Tahoe 75th Anniversary Swag: Don’t miss out on special anniversary swag giveaways to commemorate the occasion!
Both Palisades and Alpine will open on November 22, making this a mountain-wide celebration.
Lift Operations:
- The Base to Base Gondola will be running from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. to move guests between Palisades and Alpine.
- At Palisades, Exhibition will be spinning to mid-station 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- At Alpine, Subway and Treeline Cirque to mid-station will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Mountain Sports School:
Palisades Mountain Sports School will be open starting on opening day, offering kids’ and adult lessons in private and group settings. The Alpine Mountain Sports School will not be open.
Rentals:
Don’t have your gear waxed up and ready? No problem! The Palisades rental shop will be open 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. The Alpine rental shop will be open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Food and Beverage:
Not only will we be passing out complimentary breakfast burritos and coffee on opening day, but our food and beverage offerings are ramping up:
- Little Bear Café: Our newest addition to The Village at Palisades Tahoe is Little Bear Café, open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Rocker: Open Monday-Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday-Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Sun Bowl: Open Sunday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; open Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- KT Base Bar: Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- BlueBird Chicken: Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Meadows Café: Open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Chalet: Open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
- Alpine Bar: Open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
