This month, we’re featuring Vincent “Vinny” Kennedy, a Revegetation and Trail Crew Manager whose dedication, leadership, and collaborative spirit make him a pillar of our operations year-round.

Vinny Kennedy embodies the spirit of these mountains through his unwavering dedication and collaborative mindset. Whether removing hazardous trees in the middle of the night, doing rock work in winter, or transitioning from Revegetation to Utility Crew each season, he’s always ready to step in and lead by example. His team credits their success to the supportive and inclusive environment he fosters—one built on empathy, teamwork, and trust. From setting up major events and handling unexpected logistical challenges to participating in the Sustainability, Recognition, and Inclusion Committees, Vinny’s impact extends far beyond his job description. He connects people and ideas across departments, uplifts those around him, and is always the first call when something needs to get done—making him an invaluable leader and true team player.

What is the favorite part of your job? “Working with my friends and all the new challenges we tackle together each day.”
How do you feel you share the spirit of our legendary mountains? “I am now the spirit of these legendary mountains; I love basking in the legendries with my friends and family making sure everyone knows we have the best life together each and everyday rain, shine, and sublime!”
Of the four company values (Prioritizing Purpose, Honoring Authenticity, Cultivating Collaboration, Embracing Empowerment), which of these resonate most with you today? “Cultivating Collaboration! Without all of the amazing people here at PT working together we would not be the greatest ski resort in the world!”
What was your favorite vacation, where did you go, what made it special? “Belize/Guatemala vacation for sure! The island in Belize Caye Caulker with my boo Ashlynn drinking Belikin Beer eating seafood all day and night. Then traveling to Guatemala and riding a horse named Obama through the tropical rainforest jungles and hiking to see ancient Mayan Ruins and monkeys.”
What’s the most interesting fun fact about yourself? “I have a little brother named Nicholas and I really really love him.”
What’s your favorite animal and why? “Piggies! They are delicious, make great pets, not picky eaters and make cute oinks!”
If you could have a superpower, what would it be? “Laser vision. No explanation needed, its freaking laser vision!”
