Tony Chavarria has quickly stood out as a bright presence on the mountain. In a role that is still new for the team, Tony has embraced his responsibilities with enthusiasm and pride, consistently going above and beyond to create a welcoming and engaging experience for every guest he interacts with.

From handing out stickers to kids to checking in with every rider in the lift line, Tony brings energy and genuine care to every chair. His ability to connect with guests, keep spirits high, and share the stoke leaves a lasting impression, even on challenging condition days. It is no surprise that guests, teammates, and families alike feel lucky to have Tony as part of the Palisades Tahoe team.

What is your favorite part of your job? What keeps you passionate about this mountain/working in the ski industry? “I enjoy greeting our guests and making people smile.”

If you could trade jobs with anyone at the resort for a day, who would it be? “With ski patrol Gael.”

Any advice for someone new to working in the ski industry? “Make it fun.”
