Kevin Mercado embodies the spirit of the legendary mountains through his dedication, quick action, and willingness to step in wherever needed. Throughout a busy summer season, Kevin consistently went above and beyond, supporting projects across the resort and ensuring spaces remained welcoming and well maintained for both guests and team members.

From revitalizing the wedding garden to repairing essential systems and responding to unexpected facility needs, Kevin approaches every task with pride and attention to detail. He regularly steps in to support other teams and plays an important role in keeping operations running smoothly during events and peak times. Kevin’s reliability, problem solving mindset, and positive attitude make him an invaluable part of the team and a key contributor to the Palisades Tahoe experience.

What is your favorite part of your job? What keeps you passionate about this mountain/working in the ski industry? “My favorite part is when I go up to High Camp and Gold Coast to see the beautiful view of the lake.”
