High Camp Is Still In Full Swing
The Palisades Tahoe Aerial Tram is a can’t-miss activity. The views of the Sierra Nevada range and sparkling Lake Tahoe in the distance will take your breath away. The 9-minute ride up to 8,200 feet in elevation is just the start of the fun.
PRO TIP: Purchase your tickets online in advance! For every Adult Sightseeing Ticket purchased online at least 48 hours in advance, you get 1 free Child Sightseeing Ticket for ages 5-12. (Ages 4 and under are always free.)

Once the tram has docked at High Camp, the fun continues:
- Head out to the main deck where you’ll find one of the most photo-worthy locations at Palisades Tahoe. You can have both Lake Tahoe and the Olympic rings as a backdrop! You can also walk over to the further deck that looks out at our namesake, The Palisades.
- Join one of our The North Face Guided Hikes, which leave at 11am or 1pm daily. You’ll learn about the local flora and fauna and some facts about resort operations. This is a mellow one-mile loop, but sturdy footwear is recommended.
- Go roller skating at 8,200 feet for FREE! That’s right, even our rentals are free. You are also welcome to bring your own equipment. Spin about or start a game of pick-up hockey. The views from this rink are unforgettable!
- Don’t miss out on the High Camp Marketplace. Hand-crafted coffee, espresso, and tea beverages are available along with a selection of pastries and to-go food. Plus, you’ll be able to grab necessities here like sunscreen, hats, and water.
