Weekend Preview: June 24-25

It’s officially summer in Tahoe, and the weekend forecast is calling for highs in the 80s, again! Cool down in the mountains with skiing, riding and swimming this weekend at Squaw Valley.

Summer Skiing and Riding

Saturday & Sunday // 8:30am-2pm

We’re in for some fun summer skiing this weekend! Due to the high temperatures, we’ve moved operations earlier and will be spinning the following lifts from 8:30am-2pm, conditions permitting:

  • Tram
  • Funitel
  • Big Blue
  • Gold Coast
  • Shirley Lake

The sun will be strong, so bring don’t forget to load up on sunscreen and bring your sunglasses. It’s the perfect weather to ski and ride in shorts, tank tops and even bathing suits!

Terrain Parks

New features for the weekend

The park crew has been working all week to build new features for the weekend. Be sure to check out jumps and jibs off Gold Coast this weekend from 8:30am-2pm!

High Camp Pool & Hot Tub

Open daily // 11am-4pm

Cool down at our mid-mountain High Camp pool. You can lounge poolside, take a dip, or have lunch and drinks at our Poolside Cafe. There will also be DJs grooving at the hot tub Saturday & Sunday from 12-3pm.

Kids Adventure Games

Kids Adventure Games

The 4th Annual Squaw Valley Kids Adventure Games returns to Squaw Valley this weekend for kid-sized obstacles inspired by our natural terrain. Teams of two navigate an obstacle course, mountain bike, hike, zip-line, swing like Tarzan, go tubing, climb cargo nets, and conquer mud pits. Saturday’s long course is geared towards kids ages 10-14 and the shorter course on Sunday is perfect for ages 6-9.

Squaw Kids Summer Adventure Camp

The Squaw Kids Adventure Camp kicks off this weekend! Your kids will have a blast with our counselors and other kids enjoying the great outdoors of Squaw Valley. Activities include nature crafts, hiking, swimming, yoga, and climbing.
