This Thanksgiving weekend we have plenty of open terrain to be grateful for! Thanks to our dedicated staff who have been working around-the-clock and some early season snowfall, we will have 9 lifts and carpets open with terrain for all levels to enjoy. Here’s what’s on the schedule 9am-4pm daily, conditions permitting:

Squaw Valley

  • Funitel
  • Aerial Tram
  • Gold Coast
  • Siberia
  • Emigrant
  • Shirley Lake
  • Mountain Meadow
  • Bailey’s Beach
  • Squaw Kids carpet

Alpine Meadows

  • Kangaroo
  • Little Carpet

The NOAA forecast is calling for mild temperatures in the 40s and 50s, partly sunny skies, some wind and a slight chance of rain. A colder storm could move in Sunday with snow levels dropping and the potential for new snow! Please note that high winds could affect operations, so please check our lift & grooming status, mobile app or our Ops Twitter for real-time updates.

Groomers Galore!

With 16 groomed runs, there is plenty of corduroy to gobble up this weekend. Beginners will love the High Camp area with groomed green runs off Mountain Meadow and Bailey’s Beach. Intermediate skiers and riders should head to Shirley Lake and Gold Coast to cruise some of our favorite intermediate groomed terrain. These slopes are perfect for getting back in the groove after a short summer break. Kangaroo run at Alpine Meadows is another great run to warm up your legs for the season ahead!
