Surround yourself by rugged granite peaks, seasonal wildflowers, and sweeping mountain views with the Naturalist Walks at High Camp.
Led by knowledgeable naturalists, each guided walk explores the stories hidden throughout the mountain. Along the way, you’ll learn about local geology, seasonal wildflowers, wildlife, and the cultural significance woven into this iconic terrain.
What makes these walks especially unique is the people leading them. Many of our naturalists have spent years exploring the Sierra Nevada and developing a deep relationship with these mountains. They’re not just guides, they’re passionate storytellers, educators, and mountain enthusiasts who love helping others discover the hidden details that often go unnoticed.
Whether you’re curious about the flowers blooming alongside the trail, the wildlife that calls these mountains home, or simply looking for a more intentional way to spend time outdoors, Naturalist Walks offer a meaningful way to experience the Sierra.
