The weather and conditions were prime today at Palisades Tahoe for combining park laps and off-piste steeps, making for an awesome all-terrain day. From the big jump line in the Gold Coast Park to the endless options of steeps in Silverado.

Today’s afternoon adventure was a mountain tour. The sun was out, the wind was calm, and the snow looked fast and ripping. The new Gold Coast park boasted a bigger jump line and rail garden that we were hyped to check out. The terrain in Silverado was calling us too, filled in and rocking.
Gold Coast
The Terrain Park crew built out an awesome new jump line that flows so well. It was rad to see our friend Connery Lundin laying out his stylish backflip on the set. The jump line is progressive, with three jumps, each slightly bigger than the previous one. Love when this line gets built. It’s go time for dialing tricks and getting ready for the next pow day.
The rail garden that the crew put together is pretty sweet. Offering a few different lines and options and various rails, tubes, and rainbows. The crew did an amazing job building these out. Hyped watching the combos going down today.
Belmont
Belmont Park is also riding incredibly well. Offering more beginner and intermediate features. The crew built this zone so well this week. It is awesome having both these parks open for the upcoming holiday week.
Silverado
We were so hyped to have the chill vibes of Silverado open today. Even though only two gates were open, the traverse game was on, and tons of terrain to get after. From Kathmandu to Oregon Trail, the snow was variable and fun. We found some chalky steeps in the shade, corn in the sunny steeps, and fun windblown in the rolling terrain.
Gate 7 gets you out to Kathmandu and the traverse above Landbridge. Both of these zones were a blast today, riding super well. The chutes and drops were awesome. A few icy spots in the steeps that were in the shade all day. Otherwise, the snow in the sun was amazing. The windblown in the openness of the Oregon Trail terrain was so much fun too. Love all the terrain options in Silverado.
The School Yard
After an incredible session on Silverado and Gold Coast Park, we wrapped up the afternoon zipping through the stashes of The School Yard. We found a fun zone that had windblown and golden-hour sun. We lapped it a few times, blasting fun airs and hacks. The snow was super fun down to the base, with side hits galore and great groomers. This weekend will be a blast with the great conditions and all the terrain firing.
