We received 18″ of snow in April, bringing our season total to just shy of 60 feet. Our last measurable snowfall was on April 18th; since then we’ve been experiencing sunny skies and corn skiing at the Spring Skiing Capital.
Reaching a Milestone: Snowiest Season to Date!
When we hit 710″ on April 18, we officially hit a new milestone: snowiest season to date. For a detailed look at our historical monthly snow totals, check out our Snowfall Tracker page. Please note, these totals only include November-April.
We also celebrated our Spring Tracks Concert Series this April, with free live music featuring Brett Dennen Chadwick Stokes of Dispatch, DJ Logic, Coburn Station, Broken Compass, and Joy & Madness. These après-ski weekend concerts demonstrated spring skiing at its finest: California sunshine, great snow conditions, and a relaxing time with friends.
Skiing & Riding Schedule in May and Beyond
Please note that our hours of operation will change starting May 1. We will be open from 8am-2pm daily, although Monday-Thursday only one base area will be open at a time. The Alpine side will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays and the Palisades side will be closed Wednesdays and Thursdays. Both base areas will be open 9am-2pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. As always, all operations are weather and conditions permitting.
For a detailed look at May-July operations, please visit this page: Spring Summer Hours of Operations.
We’re also looking forward to celebrating the 31st Annual Cushing Crossing and have plenty of live music lined up for you in May.
We are currently experiencing prime Spring Skiing conditions, with corn snow and 70 degree sunny days. Note, there is some potential for some rain and snow during the first week of May so make sure to check the weather forecast and wear layers!
We hope to see you on the mountain soon!
