Dryland Olympics
Our pro athletes recently brought their competitive spirit to new terrain in Palisades Tahoe’s first Dryland Olympics. Team Palisades (Jonny Moseley, Cody Townsend, Bryce Bennett) faced off against Team Tahoe (Jeremy Jones, Daron Rahlves, Connery Lundin) in three unique challenges: a ski-boot bike relay through the village, a skateboard slalom course, and the Yeti Cold Plunge Challenge. After both teams showed impressive endurance in the cold plunge, Connery Lundin won the title for Team Tahoe in a final rock-paper-scissors showdown.
Warren Miller Cameos
We’re particularly proud to highlight their appearances in Warren Miller Entertainment’s landmark film “75” – a perfect collaboration as both Palisades Tahoe and Warren Miller celebrate their 75th anniversaries this season. The film features Jeremy Jones sharing the slopes with his children Mia and Cass on Granite Chief Peak, Daron Rahlves showcasing his masterful technique from Palisades to Beaver Bowl, and Connery Lundin mentoring the next generation on Mainline Pocket.
Holiday Spirit
Olympic gold medalist Jonny Mosely continued his popular Ski & Après events, expanding this year’s events to include a trivia night and retro party in Plaza Bar. Ski personality Donny Pelletier and professional free skier Amie Engerbretson helped spread the holiday spirit by surprising guests with gifts during our “12 Days of Christmas” giveaway.
Ikon Crew Camp
We were honored to host an Ikon Crew Camp where Ikon athletes, ambassadors, and influencers came together to experience everything our mountain has to offer for two days. Bringing athletes together to enjoy ski days and sharing the spirit of our mountain was an amazing opportunity for everyone involved. One of the highlights of the event was the terrain park sessions with Zeb Powell, Yuki Kadono, Tim Humphrey’s & Bad Boy Noah.
