Did you know that Palisades Tahoe has an official Athlete team? Our Athlete team is comprised of some of skiing and snowboarding’s most dynamic competitors. The official Palisades Tahoe athlete team plays a crucial role in embodying the spirit and values of our mountains. Our athletes serve as ambassadors for Palisades Tahoe, representing our commitment to excellence, adventure, and community. Their dedication to pushing boundaries, pursuing innovation, and promoting inclusivity makes them integral to our identity and continued success. If you’re skiing or riding here, you’re very likely to run into someone from our Athlete team! Here’s what the team did at Palisades Tahoe this past month:
February was another great month for our Athlete team, and this was extra apparent during the Stifel Palisades Tahoe Cup, a stop on the Audi FIS World Cup tour, which was our biggest event of the season. Jonny Moseley, Daron Rahlves, Travis Ganong, Bryce Bennett, & AJ Hurt were all here on-site to help spread the stoke and share the spirit of our legendary mountains. You may have seen them participating in the bib draw, live announcing, award ceremonies, or poster signings. This group of athletes was especially inspirational to our aspiring young athletes on Team Palisades Tahoe during this event.

Donny Pelletier (who some of you might also know as Olympian Troy Murphy) helped us create some hilarious videos in February, including how to tune skis and chatting with a snowcat operator who is also from Maine. Follow Donny on Instagram.
You probably can’t miss Connery Lundin if you’re a regular visitor to our Instagram page. Between regularly tackling our most challenging lines and mentoring our young freeriders, Connery provides the juice! He’s currently working hard on filming for next season’s Warren Miller segment highlighting the 75th anniversary of Palisades Tahoe. Follow Connery on Instagram.
You might be aware that on Mondays and Thursdays, we post conditions updates on our Instagram channel known as our Mountain Surf Report. Cody Townsend helped us create a Mountain Surf Report leading up to the first storm cycle in March, setting expectations for what we were about to experience. Daron Rahlves always helps us showcase the energy of Palisades Tahoe. He has been busy filming with both Warren Miller & KGB Productions. He also got out with photographer Jeff Engerbretson on a beautiful powder morning to nail some iconic photos off KT-22.
