The Weekend:
For the weekend we will have mostly sunny skies and breezy winds. Highs in the 30s Saturday with ridgetop winds from the northeast up to 30+ mph. That will make it feel a little colder.
For Sunday, mostly sunny with highs warming into the 40s for the lower mountain. Ridgetop winds turning southwest and still gusting up to 30+ mph.
The Upcoming Week:
A dry pattern continues to build in through the upcoming week. Expecting mostly sunny with temperatures becoming warmer later in the week. Highs in the 40s on the upper mountain and 50s at the base.
The one day that may be a little different is Tuesday when a system is moving through just to the north. It may be a little breezy with some clouds. Right now it looks like any precip chances stay to our north.
Long-Range:
We will continue to watch the trends in the pattern beyond mid-month to see if/when we could transition back into a more active storm pattern again. There are signs of the pattern starting to shift around the 20th with some colder air and some weak system possible after that.
Maybe a better pattern for storms the last few days of the month. We will keep you updated.
