The Weekend:
Mostly sunny skies & lighter winds are forecast for the rest of the weekend. We should see nice weather with sunny skies. Highs into the 40s at the base and 30s up top. Some high clouds are possible from a system over southern CA.
The Week Ahead:
The weather isn’t expected to change much for the upcoming week. Expecting mostly sunny skies each day with highs into the 40s on the lower mountain and 30s up top. The winds look fairly light, at least through the first half of the week.
Long-Range:
Right now, the drier pattern is forecast to continue the weekend of the 22nd-23rd, and into the week of the 24th.
The pattern could start to shift the week of the 24th through the end of the month with the high-pressure ridge shifting farther away from the West Coast. That could start to at least allow some weak systems into the northern Sierra the last few days of the month.
We will continue to watch the weather pattern trends for a pattern that could open the northern CA storm door back up. We will keep you updated and let you know as soon as we see fresh snow returning.
