Monday Cold & Wind:
Monday will be mostly sunny and cold with highs only in the teens on the mountain and near 20 at the base. Ridgetop winds from the east continue to be gusty making it feel even colder. Gusts up to 40-50+ mph up top. Overnight lows are in the single digits.
Tuesday – Thursday:
Mostly sunny skies continue through Thursday. Highs warming into the 30s Tuesday, and 40s for Wed – Thu. The winds become lighter starting Tuesday into Wednesday. They increase from the southwest Thursday with ridgetop gusts up to 40-50+ mph by afternoon.
Friday System:
A weak system moves through Friday with some light snow. Ridgetop winds could be gusting up to 60+ mph Friday morning, which could affect some upper mountain lifts. Then falling through the afternoon. Highs in the 20s on the upper mountain and 30s at the base.
The snow looks to be fairly light with only 1-4 inches of snow expected. We’ll continue to watch the trends on this system all week.
Long-Range:
We could see partly-mostly sunny skies for Saturday with highs warming into the 40s at the base and 30s up top. The winds could become gusty again by afternoon ahead of the next storm.
A slightly wetter storm moves through Sunday into Sunday night. We could see several inches of new snow from this system. We’ll have more details as we get closer.
The week of the 6th we could see drier weather, with the pattern possibly becoming slightly more active again around the 10th-11th.
