Awesome conditions ensued at Palisades for the eclipse on Monday! On Monday temps were in the low 40’s with tons of sunshine and little to no wind. The snow from the previous set of storms was in excellent shape, and coverage was fantastic all around the lower elevations and at the base. I started off like I always do with a warm-up lap down Mountain Run.

Today was another glorious spring day at Alpine.
The past two days at Palisades Tahoe have been lovely. After Thursday’s big Northeast wind event, which saw winds as high as 150mph on the ridges, the weather quietened and warmed up. Sunshine and temperatures in the 30s marked the day.
Fun snow conditions after last week’s storm. This weekend should be a blast!
Spring was in the air today ahead of the storm that’s expected to dump multiple feet of fresh snow on Palisades Tahoe.
A beautiful bluebird spring-like day with soft snow and no crowds.
