Tahoe Live returns this weekend with three nights of live music in The Village at Palisades Tahoe. Whether you’re visiting for the show, spending time in the mountains, or looking to enjoy a snow day with the family, there’s plenty to explore even with limited terrain. Looking for a scenic, on-mountain experience? Enjoy 50% off Aerial Tram sightseeing from Friday, December 12 through Friday, December 19. The Tram is open from 10am–4:20pm and brings you to panoramic views, the Olympic Museum, and specialty dining at High Camp which includes 50% off draft beer, $10 select cocktails, and a preview of Alexander’s Bar small plates at the Terrace Restaurant and Bar.

Resort & Terrain Operations
Our teams continue to make snow at every opportunity. While we work toward opening full lift-served terrain, we are offering a limited beginner experience this weekend. Guests can access beginner skiing and riding through carpet-only terrain at SnoVentures, along with private and group lessons for all ages.




What’s available this weekend:
- SnoVentures: Beginner terrain with carpet access
- Terrain park features: A small park setup will be available
- Palisades Kids: Open for kids’ beginner group lessons
- Adult group and private lessons: Available daily
- Aerial Tram: Open daily for sightseeing, 10am–4:20pm
- Olympic Museum and High Camp Marketplace: Open at High Camp
- KT Base Bar Pre-Party: Free outdoor event with live DJs, 11am–3pm daily
Parking & Transportation
Parking reservations are not required this weekend, December 13–14.
Due to increased activity in The Village for Tahoe Live, carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Free local transit options include:
- TART Connect: On-demand, app-based rides within North Lake Tahoe. Book free transportation between Tahoe City, Truckee, and Olympic Valley via the TART Connect app. https://tahoetruckeetransit.com/tart-connect/
- Mountaineer: Free, on-demand shuttle service within Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows. Request rides through the Mountaineer app and get dropped off just steps from The Village.
Rentals & Lessons
Rentals and lessons are available daily. Beginner guests should check in at main rentals in The Village before heading to SnoVentures.
Perfect Progression Program check-in also takes place at main rentals.
Tahoe Live Weekend
Tahoe Live brings three nights of electronic music to The Village at Palisades Tahoe. This separately ticketed event transforms the base area into a high-energy outdoor venue.

- KT Base Bar Pre-Party: 11am–3pm daily
