Events Update
B4BC
In support of this Saturday’s Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC) event, we have painted rails at both Palisades and Alpine pink! We plan to leave these rails pink for the remainder of the season to show our support to all affected by breast cancer. Be sure to check them out, get clips, and tag both @palisadestahoe and @b4bc on socials.
Rail Jam
On April 19th, we are stoked to announce that we will be hosting a rail jam at Palisades! This rail jam will be set up as a plaza-style hike park in the base area, near KT-22 and the Funitel. Features will include a small, medium, and large set of rails for the competition. The rail jam will have prizes, a DJ, and lots more fun. Keep an eye for more details on our Events Calendar soon.
Gold Coast Terrain Park (Palisades)
- We have a 3-pack of medium/large jumps with 2 knuckles.
- Once the storm cycle ends, we’ll have a 4-pack and 5-pack in store.
- Our Gold Coast Terrain Park will start to swing into Spring Skiing Capital mode with more snow features and rails. We hope to expand our current territory starting in April.
Belmont Terrain Park (Palisades)
- Belmont will have a small/medium 3-pack of jumps (as always)
- In our Start Park/Upper Jib Garden area, we have small learning jumps, boxes, & rails.
- We are aiming to mix up our rail & box line in the weeks to come with small/medium. The goal of this park is always progression, helping you stomp that next dream trick.
Tiegel Terrain Park (Alpine)
- Alpine park will stay very similar for the remainder of the season.
- Currently has 3 small jumps
- Boxes and rails will get revamped.
- If possible, we’ll add some snow feature additions for the warmer days to come.
- Tiegel is a great area to learn new tricks, hike a rail, or just hit some park to end your stellar Alpine laps.
Safety Tips:
- Start small & know your speed.
- Jib (Boxes/Rails) takeoffs are designed & intended for sliding jibs only. (Takeoffs are not jumps.)
- Jumps will be marked with flags. Pay attention to them!
