After the weekend’s 2 foot storm, we have surpassed 100″ of cumulative snowfall on the upper mountains! This early season snowfall has allowed us to open more and more terrain. Summit at Alpine Meadows opened today. KT-22 at Squaw and Sherwood at Alpine will open this Wednesday, weather and conditions permitting.
KT-22 is opening Wednesday
Thanks to the hard work of our operations teams, the Mothership is almost ready to go! Our crews have been busy building the Saddle access road, performing avalanche mitigation, building ramps, grooming, putting the detachable chairs back on and marking boundaries and obstacles in the zone. KT-22 will open for the season this Wednesday, December 11, weather & conditions permitting.
Summit opened today, Sherwood and the backside will open Wednesday
Stoke was high this morning as Summit Chair popped at 9am. The upper mountain snow was cold and soft, and there was plenty of powder to go around.
Happy to see one of our favorite views of Lake Tahoe again. Photo: Ben Arnst

Crews are working on setting up the backside as we speak, and Sherwood lift will open this Wednesday, weather and conditions permitting. Be sure to check out the brand new Treeline Cirque Chair, which now provides direct access from the Alpine Meadows base to Sherwood and the backside.
Stay tuned for more terrain coming soon!
