Our teams have been making snow whenever temps allow, and while we work toward our official opening day, that progress sets us up to open a limited beginner experience with carpet-only access starting this Saturday, December 6, along with beginner lessons and sightseeing on the Aerial Tram. We’ll share more details later this week as plans finalize—please check palisadestahoe.com for updates. We’ll continue to make snow at every location and at every opportunity that temperatures allow.
We’re eager to open more terrain as soon as conditions allow, and we appreciate your understanding of our reliance on Mother Nature. We’ll keep helping her out with snowmaking efforts and will provide additional terrain updates as they are confirmed.
SnoVentures
Open daily from 9am to 4pm for beginner skiing and riding via the Ahsoka carpet. A few park features will be available.
Adult and Kids Lessons
Beginner group lessons and private lessons are available for all ages. Palisades Kids is open for kids beginner lessons, and Kids Ski Free is in effect every day through December 12. Adults joining beginner lessons will check-in at main rentals in The Village before heading over to the snow. Perfect Progression Program (beginner) participants can also check-in at main rental in The Village and get rental equipment before joining their group lesson at SnoVentures.
Village / Rentals / Shuttle
Rental equipment is available in The Village at Palisades Tahoe and shuttle service will transport guests between the Village and SnoVentures. The Village is open for shopping, dining, and lodging. Shop, Dine and Ski Free is active through December 26. Guests can browse new gear and apparel or bring skis and boards into Parallel Mountain Sports for a preseason tune-up.
Aerial Tram / High Camp
The Aerial Tram will be open Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 from 10am to 4pm for sightseeing, snow play, the Olympic Museum, and High Camp Marketplace. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome. The Terrace Bar and Restaurant at High Camp will be open this weekend. Kids 12 and under ride the Aerial Tram free December 6–7.
Tahoe Live
Mark your calendars! Tahoe Live kicks off on Friday, December 12, with three days of world-class artists including Zeds Dead, Alison Wonderland, DJ Diesel, and more. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the start of the season with music, mountain vibes, and unforgettable energy.
Next Week / December 8-12th
SnoVenture Carpet will be on schedule Monday – Friday for beginner lessons and Kids Ski Free. This is a great time to learn! Tram will be off schedule Monday – Thursday, but starting Friday December 12th the Tram will be on schedule for the season. Shopping and Dining in The Village at Palisades Tahoe will be available. Stay tuned for more information as we work on expanding terrain.
