Olympic Rings
If you’re looking for a shot that showcases the Olympic spirit, head over to our Olympic Rings. This iconic symbol of the 1960 Winter Olympics is located at the base of the Funitel in The Village at Palisades Tahoe, across from the Ticket Office. Pose with the rings here, and you might even capture the Funitel traveling overhead in the background!

Top of Summit
At the top of Summit Express at Alpine, you’ll find breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. Sweeping out before you is the iconic Alpine Bowl terrain, with that beautiful blue lake in the distance. Strike a pose and you’ll be sure to rack up the likes.

High Camp Deck
High Camp is a must-visit spot for any Palisades Tahoe visitor, and the deck offers unparalleled views of the mountains and the valley below. You’ll find plenty of photo opportunities here, including another chance to capture a different set of Olympic Rings that hang high above the valley view.

The Chalet
Located between the bases of Scott and Yellow chairlifts at Alpine, The Chalet is a cozy on-mountain spot that’s perfect for an Instagram shot. Grab a hot drink or one of the popular giant pretzels and snap a photo of your winter getaway.

The Palisades/Top of Siberia
For the more adventurous, head over to the top of Siberia. This expert-only terrain features some of the most challenging runs at Palisades Tahoe, but it also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The best view of course is of our namesake, the Palisades formation that sweeps along skier’s right of Siberia Bowl. For absolute EXPERT skiers and riders only, you can also hike to the top of the Palisades.
