Spring at Palisades Tahoe has always been about more than great skiing and snowboarding. It’s about connection. Longer days, soft snow, and sunshine bring people together across the mountain. Friends share chairlift rides, families gather on the deck after a few laps, and the energy across the resort feels especially social.
This year, our brand campaign is centered on a simple idea: you don’t just like skiing and snowboarding, you love it. And love is meant to be shared.
At Palisades Tahoe, sharing the spirit of these legendary mountains has always been part of the mission. That spirit is at the heart of Community Days, a new program designed to open the mountain to more people while supporting the Tahoe/Truckee community that makes this place so special.
Skiing With Purpose
This year, we introduced Community Days, offering lift tickets for just $89 on select Wednesdays.
For a resort spanning 6,000 acres and 39 lifts, it’s an opportunity to experience one of the most iconic mountains in North America at an incredible value.

Community Days are open to anyone, whether you’re a longtime local, a first-time skier, or someone who has always wanted to try the sport. But the impact goes beyond the mountain.
A portion of every Community Day ticket goes directly to local nonprofit organizations.
The goal is simple: make skiing more accessible while turning a day on the slopes into something that gives back to the Tahoe-Truckee community.
Because when people come together on the mountain, the entire community benefits.
Over $20,000 Raised for Sierra Community House
The first round of Community Days supported Sierra Community House, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and individuals across North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.

Thanks to everyone who participated, more than $20,000 has been raised to support their work.
Sierra Community House connects community members with essential services including:
- Hunger relief
- Crisis intervention
- Family strengthening programs
- Housing stability support
- Legal services
By providing these resources, Sierra Community House helps build a stronger, safer, and more resilient community for everyone who calls Tahoe home.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to ski, ride, and support this cause.
Next Up: Supporting Achieve Tahoe

The remaining Community Days this season will benefit another incredible local organization: Achieve Tahoe.
Founded in 1967 at Alpine Meadows, Achieve Tahoe is one of the longest-running adaptive recreation programs in the United States.
Their mission is simple and powerful: to provide affordable, inclusive outdoor recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Today, Achieve Tahoe offers year-round adaptive programs including:
- Skiing and snowboarding
- Climbing
- Paddling
- Hiking
Through these programs, participants build confidence, independence, and connection through outdoor recreation.
For many individuals, these programs open the door to experiences that might otherwise be out of reach. Supporting Achieve Tahoe means helping more people discover the joy, freedom, and empowerment that comes from time spent in the mountains.
Remaining Community Days
There’s still time to take part this season.
Community Days continue on select Wednesdays through April 8:
- March 11
- March 18
- March 25
- April 1
- April 8
Lift tickets are just $89, and a portion of every ticket sold will support Achieve Tahoe.
Whether you’re introducing a friend to skiing for the first time or simply enjoying a spring day on the mountain, every turn helps make a difference.
A Mountain Tradition of Giving Back
Community Days are just one example of how Palisades Tahoe and its community come together to support meaningful causes throughout the season.
Across the winter, events on the mountain help raise awareness and funds for organizations that make Tahoe a stronger place to live and recreate. That includes:
- The Mothership Classic, benefiting the High Fives Foundation
- The Pain McShlonkey Classic, supporting the Shane McConkey Foundation
- Tahoe-Truckee Earth Day, supporting Sierra Watershed Education Partnerships (SWEP)
Time and again, the mountain community shows up for one another.
It’s part of what makes this place special.
