The conditions around the mountain were awesome today, from pow turns in Enchanted Forest to gully hits and steep groomers in Broken Arrow. The sunny skies and mild wind provided some fun variety of wintery snow and spring slush, an all-season all-terrain day.

Walking up to the lift, the sunny day and recent new snow made the mountain shine, with great-looking conditions on all aspects. We’re heading to Broken Arrow for some adventure boarding today and kicked it off with a quick jam out to Enchanted Forest to hunt out some pow stashes from yesterday’s new snow. At the top of KT, all aspects looked like awesome snow, soft and rippable. We scoped out a few fun lines with pow stashes and headed out the Saddle.
Enchanted Forest
This is one of our favorite little zones that holds great snow days after storms. Today, the snow was amazing, even in the sun – eight inches of cold blower pow. The turns were awesome and fast. So hyped to score these turns and rip some great slashes.
It was a treat to get some untracked goods on the upper section. Then heading into the middle section, the tracked-out snow was soft, fun, and fast. Popping airs of all the features in this zone is always a blast, and today, it was riding awesome. The lower section’s rollers and trees were still holding some pow stashes, making this run top to bottom an absolute blast today. We could lap this section all afternoon.
At the bottom, we looked over to Broken Arrow and noticed some awesome classic features to hit and a new steep groomer from Tower 16. It was time to check it out.
Broken Arrow
We were stoked to see this lift spinning today. The terrain in this zone is incredible, some of the best on the mountain. Usually, we are running up the hike on a pow day. However, today we enjoyed the old-school double lift up to this zone. Having this lift open provides some amazing adventure boarding. From Silverado to Broken Arrow Bowl, to Tower 16, and hot laps in The School Yard. Today, all the terrain was open and riding so incredibly well.
The top of this lift is so cool, offering 360 options. Broken Arrow bowl had great snow from yesterday’s new snow, with a few untracked lines still holding. The snow dropping into Silverado was nice – cold blower, the new snow holding well with the north-facing slopes today. It’s so much fun having all the access gates open and combined with the great snow today, it was a treat.
After enjoying some pow stashes around the top, we ventured to Tower 16 to check out the new groomer, top to bottom. It is so cool having another steep groomer like Sibo. This new groomer was ripping fast today, with soft snow and a total blast. On the first lap, we mixed it up, ripping the groomer halfway, then jamming over to the fun off-piste zones with the great chutes and rocks. The snow in this spot was incredible – soft, edgable, and fun. It was a blast hitting the steep chutes and blasting a few drops.
During the next few laps, we enjoyed the classic hits in the gullies of The School Yard. This zone is so much fun to lap when the Broken Arrow lift is open. The snow and terrain features were all time here today. From blasting pow slashes on the massive waves to hitting the wind lips and natural quarterpipes, this zone was riding like the natural skatepark it’s known so well. We had an absolute blast ripping this zone, lapping it many times. The conditions around the mountain were awesome today, with Broken Arrow shining.
