It’s officially December and we’re offering the most lift & trails in Tahoe! We’ve received 9″ since November 27 and conditions are awesome for early season. Summit & Roundhouse opened November 30, now offering top to bottom skiing at Alpine Meadows. The opening of Summit was a full on powder day – check out some of our favorite memories

Up high the snow was wildly responsive, soft, fast. Down lower the snow was sugary, slarvy, dreamy. The skiing was terrific yesterday. – Snowbrains

Weather Update
Saturday will be slightly cooler with highs topping out around 40. As the next storm approaches winds will continue to increase, with upper mtn gusts to 55 mph.
Saturday night a cold front moves through with light snow associated with it. The snow should taper off by Sunday morning with clearing skies on Sunday. Much colder air will be behind the front with highs only in the 30’s for Sunday and maybe only the upper 20’s on the upper mtn.
Total snowfall by Sunday morning could be 1-3 inches at the base, and 2-4 inches on the mountain. This should be a cold dry powder to add a quick refresh to the slopes. – Bryan Allegretto, Official Weather Blogger
